Even if France boss Roger Lemerre played the 'usual' PV4-EP17 partnership in central midfield, France lacked of a play-maker due to Zidane' s injury. Paddy like the whole team played well in the first half while SW13 runs his socks off before he was substituted at the 66th minute. He however managed to score the French goal after PV4 sent him through after 20 minutes.
Cameroon' s M'Boma equalized one minute before half-time from a bicycle-kick in the box. TH12 was rather quite. No injuries to be reported on the Gooners' front, and Arsène was present in Le Stade de France. It was also said Ralph went back home straight from Australia because his dad is seriously ill.France will play South Africa in Ellis Park, Johannesburg next saturday. |
