Silvinho and Edu are both named in Brazil's provitional squad for the Confederations Cup in Japan next month. The squad includes 35 players, but noone from the top domestic clubs. Vasco da Gama, Palmeiras, Flamengo and Corinthians all want to keep their players for important club games in the frankly chaotic Brazilian season. The squad will be whittled down to 22 players by May 20, Reuters report.
