Kanu's Nigeria followed the lead of Lauren;s Cameroon today,
winning their first Nations Cup match 1-0 over Algeria.
Kanu himself only came on for the second half, and according to
the BBC report, he missed
2 easy chances. To be fair, I haven;t seen the chances yet. Typically, the official Arsenal site's report describes them as a "fine save" and a "good effort".
Good to see that all that practise at missing easy chances for Arsenal recently isn't being wasted. Good luck to him (and Lauren of course). Let's hope he rediscovers his scoring touch
in Mali.
