Jerome Thomas and Ryan Garry both played in the under-20 international against Germany yesterday. England won 2-1 in the friendly match, which forms part of the U20 squad's preparation for the World Youth Championships in the UAE next year.

Meanwhile, David Bentley and Justin Hoyte have been named in the England squad for the European U19 championship qualifying tournament next month. England play 3 group games, against Macedonia on 3rd November at Kidderminster, Moldova on 5th November at Rushden & Diamonds, and Romania on 7th November at Northampton. |
