Arsenal winger Marc Overmars has pulled out of the Dutch international squad ahead of a friendly game against Germany next week.

Reuters report that Overmars withdrew from international duty in order to recover fully from his latest ankle injury. He made an Arsenal comeback as a second half substitute against Liverpool last Sunday, after being injured since just after the New Year.

Dennis Bergkamp, also recently returned from an injury lay-off, is picked for the squad along with rumoured targets Ruud van Nistelrooy, Bert Konterman, Ronald de Boer and Frank de Boer.Something to watch, then...
