Arsenal's double-winning captain of the 1970/71 season, Frank McLintock, has decided to sell his collection of football memorabilia. The former Scottish international says the reason isn't lack of personal funds, but that the insurance premium is too high! The collection includes the medals from the 1971 league and FA Cup double, 7 Cup final medals, plus Scotland international jerseys and caps. "the insurance on them to keep [the gold medals] at home is expensive," McLintock says. "My shirts and caps are also in storage - I sometimes forget I've got them because I don't see them." More at Dailysoccer or Soccernet.
