Soccernet have this story about Colin Pates, who became part of
George Graham's centre-back collection in 1990. He now works
at nobby Whitgift School in Croydon as "Master in charge of
football".
Colin describes his 4 years at Highbury as "wonderful" (despite
only 16
starting appearances). Tony Adams has been to talk to
the pupils about
football and the perils of alcohol, and
Ian Wright's visit attracted more interest than the
Queen's.
