The draw for the Worthington Cup quarter finals has
provided Blackburn Rovers with a chance to avenge
the thrashing they suffered at Highbury in last
season's FA Cup.
The match at Ewood Park will take place on Tuesday December 11th and will
be shown live on ITVsport (digital). See Arsenal.com ticket info.
The other ties are:
Sheff Wed v Watford
Tottenham v Bolton
Chelsea v Newcastle
We shouldn't expect Rovers to be so easy this time.
In that FA Cup 6th round game, their minds were
understandably on their push for promotion. And
they've had some good results in the Premiership,
including the 3 all draw at Highbury
last month.
