Credit where it's due....
Hats off to Sunderland, who have reduced ticket prices for the
League Cup match against Arsenal to just £5 (and a solitary quid for kids). That's if purchased in advance... they'll be a bit more on the day (see official Sunderland site).
As Sunderland boss Mick McCarthy says, with perhaps a touch of generosity towards our second string (and his first string), "You can't get much for £1 these days so I think it's great to be able to come and watch two top-flight teams for such a low cost."
The date of the match has been confirmed as Tuesday 25th October, kick-off at 7.45.
