Fans of Stefan Malz, Paolo Vernazza, and even John Lukic will be pleased that tonight's Worthington Cup draw has given Arsenal a relatively nice-looking tie at home to Ipswich. Ashley Cole will doubtless get a game, and I'm hoping to get a look at David Noble.
If we'd drawn Man Utd maybe the big guns would have played, but it's hard to see many being risked in this one. That's not to say that it'll be easy - Ipswich have surprised a few with their performances so far this season.
The match will be played on Tues 30th October or Wednesday 1st November (just the one leg). More as soon as we know. Meanwhile, here's the full draw.
