According to the Mirror, Arsene Wenger will soon be sitting down with Dennis Bergkamp to discuss a new contract, which would see the great man finish his playing days at Highbury/Ashburton Grove(!). This, along with his international retirement, seems to be another encouraging sign that we may yet see a return of a level of intensity in domestic matches from Dennis matching his magical 97-98 season.
