Tony Adams has agreed a one-year extension to his current contract, which would have expired this time next year. Realistically, that must mean he'll end his career at Highbury - which is, of course, where it all started. Quite a feat in the modern era...
'I think Tony is in a better shape now than he was last season and for the first time he's had a good pre-season without any
injuries,' said Le Boss. 'I believe I can reasonably expect 35
to 40 games from him. He played 37 or 38 games last year.' |
