A lovely quote from Thierry Henry on his latest achievement: becoming the first
player ever to win the European golden boot 2 years running...
"I love to make history. To be the first player to ever have done this for two years in a row is a special honour. Hopefully I will one day be remembered as a player who made an impact."
This year Thierry scored an amazing 25 league goals in 31 games. He shares the award with former Man Utd flop Diego Forlan, who also scored 25 for his new club Villareal.
Last year, Henry also became the first player to retain the PFA player of the year award.
Make an impact...? Yeah, maybe one day, Thierry!
