| Good news on Gilberto's ankle |

The Brazilian is definitely out of the Champs League game tomorrow,
but the good news is that Gilberto might be able to make the next Premiership game, at home to Birmingham City on Sunday.
The sight of him leaving West Ham on crutches on Saturday was a scary one. We suffered badly last season when Gilberto was out for a long spell.... and that was when we still had Vieira. Arsene Wenger has said that he was worried at first that Saturday's ankle injury could keep him out for over a month. But scans have shown it not to be nearly as bad as first thought. |
