Arsenal starlet Sebastian Svärd has got what he wanted: a loan move to get first-team football. The young Danish defender will join his former club FC København for the next four months. Svärd played in the pre-season tour in Austria, but isn't regarded as a proper option for the first XI yet. The 20-year-old thinks he's too good for another season in the reserves, and has told manager Arsène Wenger that he needs competitive football on a high level. FCK are reigning league champions in Denmark and are currently involved in qualifying for the UEFA Champions League. Svärd hopes to be involved in Europe with FCK, according to uefa.com. The club confirms the deal here.
