| Halls loaned out, Senderos back better soon |

21 year-old central defender John Halls has gone on loan to Stoke for a month. Halls has made 3 first team appearances (in the league cup...?), and had a successful spell on loan at Beverev in Belgium last year. He can play in midfield too, and is expected to go straight into the Potters' starting line-up against Forest this weekend.
The return to fitness of Pascal Cygan means that we can spare Halls, so he's been sent off to get some games. Most of us would probably prefer to see Halls given a chance than Cygan, but to be fair to the Frenchman, he did ok as a substitute for Ashley Cole the other week.
18 year-old Swiss central defender Philippe Senderos is on the mend from his back injury. He expects to be back in full training within a fortnight.
