| Young Danish striker joins Arsenal |

Danish sources are reporting that Arsenal have signed 16 year old prospect Nicklas Bendtner from KB, which is the same feeder club for
FC Copenhagen
that Sebastian Svard came from.
Bendtner is said to have been on trial in London in late May
or early June, and it has now been confirmed
that he has
accepted an contract to join Arsenal and will start in the U19 squad
after the summer.
Our Danish correspondent Hasse Palmelund says, "he is undoubtably one of the hottest young strikers in DK and he has been
a national youth team
regular. In 2004 he scored 3 goals in 3 starts for the Denmark U16 team and 1
goal in 3 starts for the U17s.
For his club he has scored 6 in their 10 games in the Danish youth premier league."
KB are being compensated by Arsenal to the tune of about £75,000.
