Dynamo Kiev defender Oleg Luzhny has signed for
the Arsenal for
an undisclosed fee (speculations in today's media varies
from £1.8 million to £4 million). He's not young (30),
but is very experienced and will presumably be sharing right-back
duties with Lee Dixon next season.
Dynamo have just clinched their 7th straight Ukrainian title,
and still have to contest the Cup final this Sunday. Luzhny
will join his new team-mates for pre-season training in July.
He's known as the Horse because (apparently) of the
way he gallops upfield.

Alleged target Kieron Dyer is now being linked with a
move to Leeds. |
