| Wenger fears for Anelka's future |

In a possible attempt to persuade Nicolas Anelka to stay
at Arsenal, Arsène Wenger has put voice to many of our
feelings about the wisdom of Anelka's well-developed and well-publicised
career plan.
Reported in a French newspaper, and relayed
by Football365, Wenger
says Nic could be putting his international future at risk. If he
moves
but flops (surely a bigger risk than if he stays at Arsenal), then his place
in the French Euro2000 squad could
be at risk.
One would hope that this had been pointed out to Anelka some
time ago. |
