He says that the reason the Lazio transfer has stalled is that Juventus
and Parma are now showing an interest too. But NO, he says, he
already sees himself as a Lazio player, and speaks of them in terms
until recently reserved only for Real Madrid.
On David Dein Anelka says "He wants all the money he can possibly
get out of the transfer" (yes Nic that's because he didn't want to
sell you at all).

If Juventus were to offer more, it would be understandable if Dein
listened (especially if the strong rumour that Lazio have dropped their
offer proves true), because who's to say Anelka wouldn't be saying
his heart is in Turin within a week?

But surely we'd all prefer a quick sale now. Anelka says the English
don't like him. We tried Nicolas. We tried....
