In Italy today's Gazzetta dellosport claims that Arsenal
have made a 22 billion lire (£7.5million) bid for Cagliari striker
Roberto Muzzi.
They also say that Udinese have bid 20 billion (lire), and,
sadly
that Muzzi would prefer to stay in Italy.
Way back at the end of May there were stories that Juventus would step
out of the race for Muzzi if we let them have Anelka
(see here).
So could there be a connection with recent twists in
that saga? |
