Gazzetto Dellosport today claims that Arsène has taken
his pick of the players offered by Lazio in part exchange
for Anelka.
And the lucky lucky man is.... Alen Boksic.
They say the Croatian is valued at just £6million (he's had
injury problems
recently). Not only is Wenger a master at turning round the
fortunes of
players in Boksic's situation, but Boksic might be attracted by the fact
that his fitness coach at Arsenal would be
fellow countryman Boro Primorac.
So what we're talking about here is one of the best players in the world,
plus about £15million, for an immature striker with an attitude problem
(surely no-one doubts that any more...?). The world has gone mad.
