Nicolas Anelka is considering asking the French Football Federation (FFF) for help in his bid to leave Arsenal and join Lazio. This is reported by the Italian soccer dailies Tuttosport and Corriere della Sport.
According to the papers, Anelka has a legal team working on his case. The lawyers are prepared to ask the FFF for help in freeing Anelka from his four-year Arsenal contract. Brother and agent Didier Anelka says: "We shouldn't really need the intervention of the French federation. [David] Dein and [Sergio] Cragnotti will reach an agreement." But there's no mistaking the threat, is there...?
