The summer transfer madness is starting early this year.
According to Soccernet, Arsenal and Chelsea could be competing for
the signing of "new" Dutch striking sensation Ruud van Nistelrooy at the end of the season.
Not so new. We were linked to him back in the summer too.

Nistelrooy is currently with PSV Eindhoven, who have set a
£30million price tag to scare people off. But Soccernet
reckon this could be dropped by half, and quote the player's "advisesr" as suggesting that it'll be a straight fight between the Arse and Chelsea in the summer. Ah, "the players advisers", must be true then.
Nistelrooy's former coach Bobby Robson once described him as
a better prospect than Ronaldo. So presumably there's little
chance of the big Spanish and Italian clubs entering the fray.
