Soccer are saying that "accordding to reports in
Italy",Arsenal are interested in
Sampdoria's 24 year-old goalkeeper Matteo Sereni.
There nothing of substance in the report though.
Real Madrid are alleged to have offered him a deal, and
because Arsenal's alleged search for a new goalie is
top of the rumour hit parade following the Neil Sullivan
stories (apparently Arsenal watched him last weekend,
golly!), our name's been thrown in too.
Don't hold your breath.
