According to today' s "Le Parisien", Robert Pires said his final decision will be announced by the end of May. Some people are however saying the deal is already done and dusted for £7 million.
Also there were reports some days ago that Arsenal representatives attended a few games in Rennes, alledgedly to watch 30 year-old centreback Dominique Arribage. ArseWeb reckons the real reason for their presence could be either France B defender David Sommeil or their athletic striker Shabani Nonda.
Meanwhile Manu Petit will wait for the final in Copenhagen before he makes public his decision. "I want to be honest towards my employeer" he said. |
