It looks as if Spurs are going to get their hands on Sergei Rebrov. According to the player himself, he'll seal the deal some time next week. Yes, that's pretty much what Ruud Van Nistelrooy said about Man U.
If reports on the news wires are to be believed, the transfer fee will be of Thierry Henry proportions, with a weekly salary of £25k... which would have been the top end of the Highbury Wage Structure.
Rebrov comments that a move to Arsenal had been a possibility - but was put on hold, because 'all their transfer policies will be decided after the UEFA Cup final later this month'. Intriguing... |
