Monaco's David Trezeguet has been talking to French sports paper L'Equipe about his desire to get out of the French league, to boost his own international prospects. 'I've done everything I could with Monaco... to go one step further I must join a big team.'
But before anybody leaps to the inevitable Highbury-based conclusion, he does say he'd look to Italy or England - but his number one preference would be AC Milan (as Our Man In France hinted earlier...).
If Arsene's interested, expect him to do a Vieira: let him move to the San Siro for Silly Money, watch him rot in the reserves for a few months, then get him over here on a bargain transfer. |
