"Anelka has convinced me to come to Real Madrid" he told spanish paper Marca. It seems Arsenal came with a better offer but he went on saying that "it has always been a dream to play for Real" (he still has family in Spain, being half Spanish by his mother) and that he wants to win titles at club level. "As" sportspaper reported yesterday he already sees himself as a Real player. The deal is only 90% done, AW got the lad over the phone from Brazil last week. Mr. le Boss failed to appear as a TV consultant for the Holland game as he delayed his return from sambaland. He is reported to chase one Sao Paulo player (França?) and should be back today. |
