The normally reliable Planetfootball contradicts the morning's earlier reports - suggesting that Robert Pires may even become a Gunner today (Monday).
'Pires will have a medical in London on Monday, when he flies in from Rotterdam to meet vice-chairman David Dein and he will sign the deal before flying back to Paris to join his French team-mates, as they celebrate victory in Euro 2000,' they claim.
The usual Arseweb silly-season health warning - don't hold your breath.
