Planet Football reports that Arsenal have taken two 18 year old midfielders from the Ivory Coast on trial. The wonderfully named Gilles Yapi Yapo & Mamadou Dansoko, from the Asec Mimosas club are supposedly due in England (appropriate travel documents permitting) on Sunday.
Another entirely unconfirmed report says that Arsenal also have 2 young Europeans on trial, Latvian Andrejs Rubens (reported earlier to be a transfer target) and an unnamed Bulgarian.
Arsenal never release information about players on trial, so the truth of these reports may only be judged (and possibly never be known) in the future. |
