Arsenal defender Matthew Upson is off to join
former Arsenal star David Platt's Nottingham Forest side.
But don't worry, it's just for a month, and with Adams
Keown and Luahny preferred at the moment it'll give Matty
much needed matches, since he's not really been able to play himself back into fitness since his injury.
Platty makes the situation clear:
"He's very highly thought of by everyone at Arsenal but at the moment he needs to play games. It's an ideal arrangement for us because we'll have Matthew for the busy Christmas period. There's no chance of a permanent deal but we may be able to extend the loan if his first month goes well."
Of course, we may all be regretting it when Adams gets injured again. |
