| Hornets jump in for Vernazza |

No sooner was Paolo Vernazza's proposed
move to Norwich pronounced dead, than Watford jumped in.
He's signed for them for an alleged 350,000 possibly rising to 650,000 (see Sky Sports).
The move gives Paolo a slightly better chance of getting back into the Premiership, the opportunity of workign with a good coach in Graham Taylor, and the ability to stay closer to home.
We wish him well.
Paolo's a local lad. Here's hoping he develops to the point where Arsenal buy him back! |
