Internazionale are rumoured to have enquired after both Kanu and Emmanuel Petit.
It's very hard to believe that Kanu would want to return to his former club. Despite the fact that the UK still haven't allowed his family over to live with him, he's happy in London. And he knows he owes a debt of gratitude to the club and the boss for saving his career when Inter had him stagnating. Inter have plentyof strikers too, so there's little chance that he'd get to play any more than he does now.
The Petit link is a bit more believable. Milan is a suitably trendy city, but is Inter a big enough club? We say come back to London Manu, we're going to need cover for Edu next year.
Meanwhile TeamTalk reckon it's been too long since France and Parma full-back Lilian Thuram was last linked with Arsenal, and for once it's hard to argue. Thuram remains the perfect Wenger target, in a position
where we could do with a new face. Arrigo Saachi has taken over at Parma and is said to be ready to let Thuram go. TeamTalk also come up with a cunning reason why Arsenal's reluctance to buy before the transfer system is sorted out wouldn't apply
(strong relationship between Thuram and Wenger), and clinch it with the fact that couple fo people reckon they might have seen the player having dinner with Wenger last week. That's clinched it for us.
