Midas Soccer
reckon that, at last, Per Krĝldrup is about to sign for Arsenal.
The 21 year old Danish defender is described as "fast, physically strong, and very good in the air".
See this item
for more on the player, and for links taking you back through the whole saga, starting with ArseWeb's breaking the story in this country back at the start of October.
Krĝldrup was over for 2 short trials earlier in the season, and after the last one his current manager said that Per preferred a new year move (so he could finish some exams).
So it makes sense. Midas reckon that he arrived at Highbury on Tuesday to discuss terms, but of course he could just have been visiting (again). They also reckon it'll be a pay-as-you-go deal, £10,000 per appearance, up to £1million.
We'll see.
Incidentally, Midas also say we're on of the front runners to sign Romanian midfielder Galca from Espanyol. But they do point out that Galca's agent seems to be responsible for the stories. And Harry Redknapp has apparently watched the player and judged him not to be of Premiership quality.
So what could be more natural than the predicted move to Spurs? The Andy Booth signing has already proved that quality is not
their priority.
