Football 365 states with some confidence that 'Cardiff City's Mark Delaney looks poised to join Arsenal just seven months after becoming a professional player.' Delaney, a right back / wing back, is 22 years old, and joined Cardiff last summer from amateur side Carmarthen Town. He's scored one goal this year. The unofficial Cardiff website reckons his pace is 'awesome' and that he is 'as useful in attack as he is in defence'. (Teamtalk are reporting the same story, but I wouldn't consider that any sort of confirmation!) |
