Arsenal has been snubbed by Russian champions Spartak Moscow in an attempt to sign Macedonian full-back Igor Mitreski. The 22-year-old is quoted by news agency AFP as saying: "I know about the proposal. My agent told me that several other sides including Bayern Munich want to sign me."

"However, I'm under contract with Spartak and they said they are not going to sell me anywhere," Mitreski added.
