It's being reported that agent Marc Roger is the man behind
attempts to unsettle Patrick Vieira. He is said to be
"looking at options for his star client" but it's not
known to what extent his star client is motivating this.
Vieira himself is said to be in America at the moment.
Roger was instrumental in the Anelka affair, and
Sportal claim that Arsenal are looking at
report on Roger which was published earlier
in the week. The suggestion is that the agent goes round
trying to "sell" players to new clubs off his own bat.
Meanwhile, Eric bloody Cantona is quoted as saying that Vieira should leave Highbury if he wants more silverware. Thanks Eric, that's very helpful. |
