Good to see Arsene's influence has rubbed off on Nicolas Anelka. Speaking to Football365 today, the Gallic Goal Machine has stated that he will see out the four remaining years on his Highbury contract.
Edited highlights: 'The only way that I'll be leaving Arsenal is if the manager decides to sell me. I can tell you for definite that it will not be my decision to leave. Let me say this one more time: I've never said I want to leave Arsenal. I've never said I want to leave England. I knew that it wasn't going to be easy to settle because I had left all my friends back home, but that's not something which means I want to leave. Some of the rumours that have been flying around have been incredible. Some guy who claims to be acting for me goes around saying that I want a move to Barcelona, but I've never even heard of him.'
