There's always a lot of speculation about keepers that Arsenal might be signing, and it's continued recently despite the fact that Seaman has returned to action (and form), and Richard Wright stills looks like he could be taking over next season.
The most recent links have been Tomas Sorenson and Sebastien Frey.
Well, we have signed a keeper, but it's not one the tabloids predicted, and you shouldn't expect to see him
ousting Seaman or Wright in the near future.
Reading Keeper Jamie Ashdown has signed on loan till the end of the season. He will be filling in for Stuart Taylor, who had a
great spell filling in in the first team earlier in the season, but has been out injured since January. The other reserve keepers Graham Stack and Craig Holloway are also on the treatment table, and Ashdown has actually already played 2
reserve games for us on a previous short-term arrangement.
