Serie A giants Lazio want Fredrik Ljungberg to boost their midfield next season.

According to Swedish tabloid Expressen, Lazio have contacted Arsenal about Ljungberg's availabilty several times.

The Swedish midfielder has made a crucial impact this season, currently filling in for Robert Pires but also scoring vital goals in the league and in Europe. Ljungberg has interested Lazio since compatriot Sven-Göran Eriksson still was manager there.
