If the Sun are to be believed, this summer promises to be a very busy one at Highbury.
In an article headlined: "Wenger to nick Hof off Fergie", Sunsport claim that Arsenal are preparing a £25 million double bid for PSV Eindhoven's Mark Van Bommel and Kevin Hofland.
The Van Bommel link is nothing new, but Hofland has been widely linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer and it would be a major coup if Arsenal were to nick him from under Sir Alex Fergusmoan's shiny red nose.
But the speculation doesn't end with Van Bommel and Hofland. The Sun also claim Arsene Wenger is preparing to bring in Barry Ferguson from Rangers, David Trezeguet from Juventus and (he-he) Stephen Carr from S***s.
Now where the hell do they think we're going to get the money to sign that lot?
