Probably the first in a long line of links to players in the World Cup.
Rumours continue to abound that Arsenal are interested in the Nigerian international Julius Aghahowa, he of the multiple backflip celebrations.
The 20 year old Shaktar Donetsk striker, whose scoring record for his country is 12 in 16 games, including both goals against Scotland and the first against the Republic on Wednesday, is reportedly keen on the move to the Premiership.
According to his agent Arsenal are his preferred option and Arsene Wenger has "reportedly" held preliminary talks with the player's representatives.
.....how many times will we hear that this summer? |
