Sorry the trick contained in this article didn't work!
But the Arsenal did! Click for match report: It's a Silva record!!!.
We hope you managed to get to see it, it was good!!
Don't bother with the rest of the article below, it's out of date now.
...and you've got Sky Digital, why not try the following.
I must stress that I don't know if this is going to enable
anyone to watch the game tonight. It is possible that the
version of ITN News which the following talks about stops
in the evening (like it does on some cable services). But
I can confirm that it is possible to get ITN News
on a Sky DigiBox. I am watching it right now.
Read this to the bottom: it seems unlikely that it's gonna work. Sorry!
- Hit the Services button.
- Go to item 4 System Setup
- Go to item 4 Add channels
- enter the frequency as 12032
- change the polarisation to H,
- go to Find channels then press select
- select ITN News and press the yellow button so there's a tick next to it
- press select twice.
- Now when you go to Services and Other channels,
you should find that you can watch ITN News
Once again, if you've found a pub to watch the game in
you should probably do that. But if you were going to stay
in anyway, with the radio (it is apparently on R5 Live) and highlights later, it's worth
a try!
Good luck to the Arsenal, and to Gooners everywhere.
Rupe adds...
Several people havw written to say this won't work and that
the signal will either disappear or stay on news for the 2 hours
of the match. Some others have written to say that it has worked for other matches in the past, but we have to be pessimistic about this. Sorry if we got anyone's hopes up!
