The Arseweb-generated rumour that Arsenal may move from Highbury to the site of the Millennium Dome has been boosted by comments made by the Dome's chief spokesman at the weekend.
Sholto Douglas-Hume, director of marketing for the New Millennium Experience Company, was interviewed by BBC Radio 5's 'Sunday Service' show at the weekend, and was asked the usual cynical questions.
Renowned Spurs fan and former political spindoctor Charlie Whelan, asked SD-H about 'suggestions' that Arsenal might move to the Dome site. His response: 'I don't know if the Arsenal bid has been successful...'
