Tottenham Hotspur (1) 1 - 1 (0) Arsenal
White Hart Lane, Monday December 18th 2000
FA Carling Premiership
A simple headed goal by Patrick Vieira, from a Silvinho
corner in the last minute, got Arsenal a well-deserved
draw.
Tottenham had the better of much of the first half,
and took the lead through Rebrov after half an hour.
Manninger could only parry Anderton's fierce shot
to the Ukrainian, whose diving header gave Alex no chance.
Three white shirts had been offside, all right in front of goal, when Anderton pulled the trigger, but Rebrov wasn't one of them.
Arsenal stepped up a gear in the second half, especially after both Bergkamp and Vieira were brought off the bench. We dominated
the game and looked likely winners if the equaliser would come.
But Sullivan made some good saves, and Arsenal wasted a
couple of good chances.
