Spider ready to field weak team by Rupe

this is story 236 of 603 in this topic to date
David O'Leary has been saying that he will field a weakened side against Arsenal on Saturday, if Leeds come out of tonight's Champs League semi-final first leg with a chance of progressing.

"My priority, if we get a good result against Valencia, will not be the game with Arsenal. If we have a chance of getting into the final of the greatest club tournament then my priority will be next Tuesday's game. It is a fact that we have not got the biggest squad but if we have a chance of getting to the final I will rest players on Saturday, that is a fact."

He didn't miss the chance to continue with a moan about having to play a premiership match this Saturday. Playing football on a Saturday? Whatever will they think of next?

Incidentally, one players who almost certainly will be playign against us is Robbie Keane, since he's ineligible for the Champs League matches.

See match preview for mor team news, TV info, etc.
