Hot off the radio, on Capital's coverage of
Arsenal's win over Ipswich (it's 2-0 with 20 minutes to go
and I have faith), Jonathan Pearce has just announced that
Alex Ferguson has conceded the Premiership title.
Following Man United's 3-0 loss at home to Chelsea this
lunchtime, Siralex has appeared on Man Utd's TV station
saying that they can't win the title again this year.
While many of us might think they're on the way out,
in our case it's partly wishful thinking. It's early doors yet,
the race is likely to be more closely fought than it has
been for years, and
Man Utd still have an awesome squad. They may be
playing below themselves at the moment, but these last 2 losses were both to
teams playing particularly well. Chelsea won't play that well
every week, any more than Arsenal will (note to Gunners, if you
want to prove me wrong make it about that statement, not the
one about winning at Ipswich) So surely no-one
thinks he means it.
