Leeds will be without striker Alan Smith on Sunday,
after he had a video panel appeal turned down today.
Smith was sent off in the FA Cup loss to Cardiff 2 weeks ago.
He will have been optimistic, having had support from the
player he was alleged to have struck. But instead he's been
hit with a 5 match ban.
They'll also be without injury victims Eirik Bakke, Harry Kewell, Robbie Keane, Lucas Radebe, Olivier Dacourt, and Michael Bridges.
But it looks like Rio Ferdinand may make a surprise early return from injury. He got a nasty ankle injury in Cardiff and was
expected to be out for more like a month, but he's back in training already.
Danny Mills is able to play, his suspension for the sending off at
Newcastle doesn't start till after the Arsenal match.
