Arsenal have been playing catch up with Liverpool and Manchester United for a while now. But with both of our title rivals out of action on Monday, the Gunners finally have the chance to play one of their two games in hand and go top of the Premiership.
To do that Arsene Wenger's men must beat a Charlton side who have not lost a London derby all season. The Addicks have already beaten the Gunners at Highbury in a match which they managed to win 4-2 despite having just three shots on target!
Le Boss will probably name an unchanged team for the game, although Lauren might take over from Oleg Luzhny at right back if he shakes off the knee injury sustained against Juventus.
Martin Keown is pressing for a recall after coming through a reserve game in midweek. Rash will be given a late fitness test on Monday morning, but is unlikely to dislodge either Sol Campbell or Tony Adams at the back unless Le Boss feels TA is not up to the rigours of two games in the space of three days or Campbell needs a rest. Franny Jeffers and Kanu will both be on the bench again.
Charlton may also name an unchanged side despite a 2-0 defeat at Liverpool on Saturday. Although Mark Kinsella could be restored to the side at the expense of Chris Bart-Williams
